Temporary Move
Hey guys...
I've temporarily moved to Blogspot. It's not my final home... but it's just where I've been blogging on my personal style (fashion directed). I miss Xanga dearly, with my food posts and new spot posts, so I'm in the works of creating an entire blog website.
If anyone wants to follow me... let me know... and soon, hopefully within the next three months, my full blog website will be up! :)
Cheers,
M aka HOOLA

Wynn, Las Vegas
"Bragging about award-winning chefs is one thing.
Having them cook your dinner is quite another."
Bartolotta
AAA Four Diamond Award 2008, 2007
Fresh Seafood and shellfish flown in daily from the Mediterranean waters, as well as homemade pastas and Italian classics. Check out the menu.
I had an amazing birthday dinner in Vegas on my semi business trip. It was delicious! I can't rave enough about my dining experience (true culinary art at it's finest!). The last time I was in Vegas dining at Guy Savoy, I was impressed by the bread cart. I have to mention that Bartolotta kicked Guy's ass by pushing out their whole fish cart of various fresh fish (famously flown in daily). I think the best experience here for anyone is to order the tasting menu prepared by the Chef-- with whatever he fancies for your night. My only request was "octopus" and I received it as one of the many appetizers. It was so succulent... and flavorful....
The decor: exquisite indoors and outdoors. I was in awe of the outdoor cabanas next to the serene water. Wynn/Encore has many fanciful and whimiscal decor throughout the hotel which is utterly my favorite because it's so much more fun like I've been transported to a surreal dream.
______________
Le Reve
I lack nearly the the right words to explain this ridiculously fascinating show. It is my favorite of all the Cirque Du Soleil thus far (and I have been watching them before they hit stardom onto the Vegas strip). I can show you a glimpse here, but it is nothing compared to being in the theatre (which was specifically built for this show!). You are literally engulfed into a wet dream...
Some snaps from my Blackberry. We had great seats! 3rd row front and center!

Soup for the Soul
Vietnamese homemade Pho in 30 minutes.
Testimonials: "Oh, your pho is so flavorful, more than the restaurants!", "I like how you put onions in your Pho!"
I decided to do Chicken Combo Pho Dac Biet ("special") and threw in some beef meat balls too.
So contrary to Pho rumors of having to slave in the kitchen all day, I can make it for you so that it's ready when you get home! Yes, I'm sure the slaving one tastes better, but probably not by as much for me to give up anymore time. TIME IS MONEY!

Mmmm deliciously healthful for the <3.
Shitake mustrooms, Salmon fillet, watercress, onions, tomatoes, green onion chives, dill, and some flaaaava.
Hope you all enjoyed some quick dinner suggestions.
